Guizhou Echo丨2024年度第一期国际友城工作培训班在我省成功举办
3月19日至23日，由中国国际友好城市联合会主办、贵州省外事办承办的2024年度第一期国际友城工作培训班在贵阳市成功举办。全国对外友协副会长鄢东出席培训班开班式并作动员讲话。省外事办主任陶平生致欢迎辞。天津、湖北、湖南、广东、广西、重庆、四川、贵州、云南、西藏等10个省区市的国际友城联合会会员城市外事办（友协）从事国际友城工作的干部约100人参加培训。
From March 19th to 23rd, the first phase of the 2024 International Sister Cities Training Workshop, hosted by China International Friendship Cities Association and organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Guizhou Province, was successfully held in Guiyang, Guizhou province. Vice President Yan Dong of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries attended the opening ceremony and delivered a motivational speech. Tao Pingsheng, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Guizhou Province, delivered a welcoming address. About 100 cadres from 10 provinces and autonomous regions participated in the training.
鄢东副会长表示，此次培训班是中国国际友好城市联合会近年来举办的首次友城工作培训和疫情后举办的首次全国性培训，主要任务是深入学习贯彻习近平外交思想和习近平总书记关于国际友城工作的重要指示精神，提高各地从事友城工作外事干部的政策理论和业务水平，为各地交流友城工作经验、相互启发借鉴提供重要平台，推动全国友城工作更加全面、均衡、可持续发展。
Vice President Yan Dong stated that held by China International Friendship Cities Association, this training workshop was the first workshop on cooperation between sister cities in recent years and the first nationwide training held after the pandemic. The main task was to thoroughly study and implement President Xi Jinping’s diplomatic thoughts and his important instructions on cooperation between sister cities, enhance the policy theory and professional level of cadres across the country, provide an important platform for exchanges and mutual learning of sister cities work experience, and promote more comprehensive, balanced, and sustainable development of sister cities work nationwide.
陶平生主任热烈欢迎来黔出席和参加培训班的领导和同仁，介绍了我省基本情况和国际友城工作情况，希望参训学员能利用好中国国际友好城市联合会提供的互学互鉴平台，收获友城工作的宝贵知识和经验，更好服务国家外交大局，服务地方高质量发展和高水平对外开放。
Director Tao Pingsheng warmly welcomed the leaders and colleagues who attended the training in Guizhou. He introduced the basic situation of Guizhou and cooperation between sister cities. He hoped that by making good use of the platform provided by China International Friendship Cities Association, the trainees could achieve mutual learning, gain valuable knowledge and experience on cooperation between sister cities, better serve China’s diplomacy and the high-quality development and high-level opening-up.
此次培训班围绕目标任务进行了精心设计和充分准备，课程内容除友城工作外，还涉及国际形势、中国外交、国际传播、地方外事和国际地方政府组织情况介绍等内容，组织学员进行了友城工作案例分享和分组研讨，内容丰富、形式多样。学员们一致认为，通过此次培训，进一步了解了友城工作的发展特点和方向，掌握了开展友城工作的要求和方法，学习借鉴了兄弟省市友城工作的好经验好做法，丰富了自身知识储备，提升了业务能力水平，为今后更好贯彻落实习近平总书记关于国际友城工作的重要指示精神、高质量开展本地区国际友城工作打下了坚实基础。
The workshop was carefully designed and fully prepared. In addition to cooperation between sister cities, the course also covered international situations, Chinese diplomacy, international communication, local foreign affairs, and the situation of international local government organizations. It organized participants to share cases of cooperation between sister cities and conduct group discussions in diverse forms. The trainees agreed that through this training, they further understood the development characteristics and directions of cooperation between sister cities, mastered the requirements and methods of conducting cooperation between sister cities, learned from the good experiences and practices of sister cities work from other provinces and cities, enriched their own knowledge reserves and enhanced their professional abilities. This way, it will lay a solid foundation for better implementing the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on cooperation between sister cities and carrying out cooperation between sister cities with high quality.
今年起，中国国际友城联合会每年将举办三期国际友城工作培训班，为560多个会员城市外办（友协）干部提供学习交流的平台。两年为一个周期，对友城联合会会员城市实现全覆盖。
Starting this year, China International Friendship Cities Association will hold three sessions of training workshops on cooperation between sister cities every year, providing a platform for mutual exchange for more than 560 cadres from member cities. With a two-year cycle, it aims to achieve full coverage of member cities of the sister cities association.
