1月20日，中国驻巴基斯坦大使馆文化参赞兼巴基斯坦中国文化中心主任张和清，在国际社交平台「X」上发布了纪录片《这一站，贵州 · 热辣“村BA”》相关内容介绍，向全世界推介贵州「村BA」。

The documentary Game On: Hoops and Dreams in Rural China
The documentary Game On: Hoops and Dreams in Rural China offers an in-depth exploration of the unique charm of basketball in rural Guizhou, southwest China. Zena Edosomwan, the former captain of the Harvard University men’s basketball team, travels to Guizhou’s Taijiang county to experience the life of local people. Zena gets to know three local basketball teams and witnesses their journey toward the championship. People in rural Guizhou have been playing basketball for more than eight decades. Once they step on the court, they are going to give it their all. Regardless of gender, age, or occupation, basketball reflects not only their passion but also their love for life. It is the source of vitality in China’s countryside, embodying the spirit of hard work, unity, and the pursuit of dreams. Through his visit, Zena gradually uncovers why the “Village Basketball Association” (VBA) took root in Guizhou, a region rich in ethnic diversity, and how it blossomed into a nationwide sensation, earning attention from around the globe. Basketball transcends borders, uniting hearts worldwide through the universal language of the game.

旨在通过「村BA」，以国际视野展现篮球文化在贵州的鲜活生命力，以村民球队成长故事为线索，勾勒乡村篮球历史、贵州民族文化等多维面貌，讲好新时代乡村振兴故事，助力打造世界级旅游目的地。
美国东部时间(EST)2025年1月17日 ，该片已通过USA TODAY OTT平台全面上线、宣传片登陆今日美国官网、全片登陆今日美国YouTube专区，覆盖美国、英国、澳大利亚、加拿大和欧盟等30多个国家和地区。并于1月19日，在贵州卫视播出。目前仅今日美国YouTube专区，全片播放量已超7万次。
