Guizhou Echo | 九九重阳节！致敬这些杰出的贵州长者们
今天是中国国庆节假期的第四天，同样也是中国传统节日重阳节，近十年来，有许多来自贵州的老人们依然在为国家的建设和发展做出重要的贡献。
Today is the fourth day of the Chinese National Day holiday. It is also the traditional Chinese festival -- Chongyang Festival. In the past ten years, many elderly people from Guizhou are still making important contributions to the construction and development of the country.
1935年出生在贵州遵义的黄大发曾是遵义市播州区平正仡佬族乡原草王坝村党支部书记。他带领村民历时36年，在悬崖绝壁上开凿出长达9200米的“生命渠”，用他的人生兑现了“水过不去、拿命来铺”的誓言，被誉为“当代愚公”。
Huang Dafa, who was born in Zunyi, Guizhou in 1935, was the secretary of the Party branch of Caowangba Village, Pingzheng Township, Bozhou District, Zunyi City. He took 36 years to excavate 9200 meters of water canal with the villagers together, solving the problem of water use that troubled the village for decades. He used his whole life to fulfill the vow of "No water, no life", Huang Dafa is known as the "Contemporary Yu Gong".
1947年，陶华碧出生于贵州省湄潭县一个偏僻的山村。她从一个只有两张桌子的小饭店做起，用她的勤劳，朴实和真诚，最终打造出驰名中外的“老干妈”辣酱品牌。成为扎根贵州本土建设发展的民营企业家典范。
In 1947, Tao Huabi was born in a remote mountain village in Meitan County, Guizhou Province. She started her career from a small restaurant with only two tables, and finally created the well-known chili sauce brand - "The godmother" with her hard work, simplicity and sincerity. She has also become a model for private entrepreneurs who take root in Guizhou.
1947年出生的龙永图自幼在贵州省贵阳市长大。曾留学海外的他最终成为了中国现代外交史上重要的参与者。他是中国复关及入世首席谈判代表。
Long Yongtu, born in 1947, grew up in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. He has become an important participant in the history of modern diplomacy in China. He is the chief negotiating representative of the process of China entering the WTO.
宋培伦1940年出生于贵州省湄潭县。他是贵州省内著名的艺术家，画家。从1997年开始，他“隐居”在贵阳市郊的一处山林中，与当地村民修建出了被艺术界称为“东方古堡”的夜郎谷生态园。
Song Peilun was born in Meitan County, Guizhou Province in 1940. He is a famous artist and painter in Guizhou Province. Since 1997, he has "lived" in a mountain forest in the outskirts of Guiyang, and has built a Yelang Valley Ecological Park called the "Oriental Castle" with local villagers together.
