I am very fond of Dong villages, because they provide a model of "poetic dwelling".In the environment of poetic dwelling, the indispensable part would be the singing. The grand songs of the Dong ethnic group are famous worldwide and the Dong villages, such as Xiaohuang, Huangggang, and Zaidang, are almost fashioned for the grand songs. Countless travellers journey thousands of miles just to listen to the singing from heaven.
