Guizhou Echo | 镇远古镇

镇远古镇位于贵州省黔东南州镇远县舞阳河畔，已有2000多年的历史。 一个必去的景点是青龙洞，它依山傍水，面朝清澈的河流。五步一屋，十步一亭。 被誉为“贵州古建筑博物馆”。

镇远的瓦房大多是黑白的，没有太多的颜色。 所以水色如玉的舞阳河穿城而过就是最好的装饰。这里也被游客誉为“东方威尼斯”。现在，贵阳可以乘坐高铁直达镇远，出火车站后，再开车10分钟即可到达古镇。

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is located on the banks of Wuyang River in Zhenyuan County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, with a history of more than 2,000 years. A must-visit attraction is the Qinglongdong which lies by green hills, facing the clear river. A house rises every five steps, and a pavilion, every ten steps. It is known as the "Ancient Architecture Museum of Guizhou".

Most of the tile-built houses in Zhenyuan are black and white, without many colours. So the Wuyang River, which is jade in colour, crossing the city is the best decoration. It is also praised by tourists as the "Venice of the East”.Now,a high-speed train can take you directly from Guiyang to Zhenyuan, and after leaving the train station, another 10-minute drive will get you to the ancient town.
