Could you please briefly introduce the background of this event, such as the scale of the competition and the overall level of the boxers?

A1:

好的，关于本站赛事的规格，这是世界杯分站赛。每年我们都会举办世界杯系列巡回赛。

Okay, the scale of this event, this is the World Cup stage. So this is every year we have a World Cup circuit.

通常包含两到三个分站赛，并在年底举行总决赛。

And there's two or three stages, and then there's a final at the end of the year.

今年一共三站，中国是第二站。此前我们在巴西举办了首站比赛，现在来到了中国。

So this is the second stage, there will be two stages this year. We had a stage in Brazil before, now we're in China.

And then the final will be in Uzbekistan in November.

Okay, so the Chinese Boxing Federation put in a candidature. And World Boxing was very pleased to award the candidature to China.

因为在我们看来，中国在世界拳击格局里占有非常重要的位置。中国在巴黎（奥运会）上诞生了多位金牌得主。

Because we think China is a very important country in World Boxing. We have many gold medalists from Paris.

So we're very happy to come to China because China is known to organize very good events. And so we're very pleased to be here.

How would you evaluate the current level of Chinese boxing on the global stage?

A3：

So Chinese boxing is very good, especially in the women. And we expect that there will be even further good results in the future.

It's clear that the competition is very tough because boxing is one of the most universal sports.

What are your immediate impressions of the city, often called “CoolGuiyang?”

What has stood out to you regarding the weather, environment, local citizens and volunteer services?

A4：

是的，我确实已经在贵阳待了好几天。我来过中国很多次，不下30次，

Okay, so I've been here indeed in Guiyang for some days now. And I've been to China many times, more than 30 times.

但这还是我第一次来到贵阳，是一次非常美妙的初遇。我非常喜欢这里的气候，特别是夏天，就像你刚才提到的那样，非常“凉爽”。

This is the first time I'm here and it's a very good discovery. I really like the climate because, especially in summer, it's very, like you said, cool.

And so I understand why many Chinese want to come here, because it's a very nice climate and the food is excellent.

You have been involved in the organization of numerous top tier international events.

对比其他办赛城市，贵阳最独特、最打动您的地方是什么？

Compared to other host cities, what do you find most unique and impressive about Guiyang?

A5：

有一点非常独特，那就是这是我第一次来到一个专门为我们的赛事而全新启用的场馆。

One thing that is unique is, it's the first time I come to a venue that has been opened exactly for us.

So they were very happy with the venue. It looks very nice. We know that the mayor has been very much involved in making sure this is a fantastic venue.

And it is really a fantastic venue. The level of organization is very high. So we were very pleased on how it's going at the moment.

How would you evaluate its hardware and facilities across various dimensions, such as boxing event standards,athlete preparation zones, media broadcasting capabilities, and the overall spectator experience?

I think it's a very nice venue. It is really delivering what it promised to be. I have been, for instance, in the venue,

Guiyang is the home town for Olympic champion Zou Shiming. Does world boxing see potential for deeper cooperation with Guizhou's boxing resources?

A7:

Well, I think we definitely want to see how we can continue to work together.

I think you have that legacy of having an Olympic champion here. So that will motivate especially young kids.

Okay. So world boxing is still a young organization. So how do you assess its progress in governance and competition structure so far?

A7:

So yes, we are very young. We are three years old. So that has, I would say, big advantages.

To the boxers, I would say, train hard. Make sure that you continue to believe in the sport.

And that together, we hope to see them in the national games, in the Asian games, in the Olympic games, in the World Championships.
