Guizhou Echo | 镰刀剃头——史上最“粗暴”的理发方式

贵州岜沙苗寨没有理发店，村民们世代使用锋利的镰刀剃光头。

岜沙男人非常重视头发。他们有相同的发型——剃掉两边和后背，只留下头发的中间部分做一个发髻，一种终生保留的发型。据说这种风俗是蚩尤时代流传下来的，是中国最古老的男性发型。

There are no barber shops in Biasha Miao Village in Guizhou, and for generations, the villagers have been using sharp sickles to shave their heads.

The Biasha men attach great importance to their hair. They have identical hairstyle-shaving off the sides and the back while leaving only the middle part of the hair to make a bun, a hairstyle to keep for life. It is said that this custom was passed down from the age of Chiyou and is the oldest male hairstyle ever seen in China.
